Excalibur Dealer: Bubbles
Does anybody know this guy? I mean how could you not with a name like that.
I've always found him to be a pretty decent dealer and fairly entertaining in the days when the Excalibur pr was extremely small. Just want to check and sorry if you think this post is spam. |

Re: Excalibur Dealer: Bubbles
Last time I was at the Excalibur (I think it was late Feb) I asked about him as he was not there on a Sat. night, and he had always been there on Sat. nights. The dealer told me he had had a stroke. Not sure if anyone can confirm this or if anyone knows his current condition, but he definitely was one of the main reasons I kept playing at the Excalibur.

Re: Excalibur Dealer: Bubbles
Looks like the stroke talk is true, I found this on the web:
(March '05) -- I'm very sorry to report that Bubbles recently had a stroke and has been out of work. Unfortunately, he probably won't be able to return. Bubbles will be missed. |

Re: Excalibur Dealer: Bubbles
That really sucks. He's a great dealer and a very nice guy. Was there any mention of a fund that someone could donate to, if so inclined?

Re: Excalibur Dealer: Bubbles
No mention of a fund. Yeah it does suck, I honestly don't feel as attached to that room as I did when it was tiny, on the other side of the corridor and mostly empty.

Re: Excalibur Dealer: Bubbles
Bubbles' reputation preceded him. He never dealt to me, but I've heard his name, and nothing but great things about him.
Sorry to hear about his troubles. |
