What would\'ve been the better play
I was playing in a tourney last night. We are down to 5 players (3 spots
pay). Blinds are 400/800. SS is on the BB and is pot committed so no doubt he's going AI. The rest of us are pretty close in chips. I am second short but not by that much compared to CL (The CL only has about 2k more than me). I am UTG and looking at KK. So what would be the better play? 1. Just call and hope to get another caller/raiser (besides the BB who will def go AI) and then go AI if no Ace shows on the flop. 2. Raise AI to try and get any naked ace out and isolate against the BB (The play I chose) A8 |

Re: What would\'ve been the better play
If the SS in the BB has another BB behind his post, and you know he will push, call and let him reopen the betting, then push when it gets back to you.

Re: What would\'ve been the better play
Duh - I suppose that would help, huh.
While not exact the chip counts were about like this CL - 6000 2nd - 4400 3rd - 4000 ME - 3800 SS - 1500 |
