I don't like it. Not because you played so aggressively, but because you didn't bet the river. I suspect that your hand is good here a lot of the time, and that you let a value bet slide away.

I also might have three bet the flop, incase my opponent was raising for a free card with his overcards/or flush draw.

Given that you checkraised the turn, I don't think the lack of a three bet is wrong, but it might be more expensive if you are behind, and if you were ahead, you might have let your opponent play the hand more cheaply if he took the free card.

I think that if you three bet the flop, you can probably fold to a turn or river raise, without worrying about whether or not your were beat.

Yeah 3-betting the flop and folding to a turn raise will probably help u sleep later knowing u folded the second best that time around.

I agree with the 3 betting the flop over the turn since i dont think the turn protection is really needed especially if you dont bet the river since i think that you would call if he bet the river. Also, at 2/4 i dont think a play like this is +ev since he probably isn't thinking about what hands a play like this might come from.

When I think my hand is likely good, and I think your hand is here throughout, I generally prefer any line that doesn't include checking to my opponent on the turn. I would prefer just 3-betting the flop here and leading the turn. If you were fairly certain your opponent will bet the turn regardless then I suppose this is OK. But it wouldn't be my choice.

With the line you chose if you feel your opponent will pay off with any pair then I think you should bet the river.

Besides 77,88 and maybe even 55, if he had A-6 or 7-6 of diamonds he's gonna pay you off enough of the time to make a value bet worth it. I wouldn't be too surprised to see him call you with A-K here, its a move I see more fishing making these days.
