Good fold. I may have even considered folding the turn. Folding AA is pretty hardbut there are times to do it for sure. This was one of them IMHO.

Against two opponents, the river fold is fine.

HU I would probably call it.

Your flop action seems a little messed up BTW.

I fold to the raised pot on the turn. MP1 sure looks like he picked up his flush after calling the flop and then raising the turn when another spade fell. Also, getting 6.5:1 on the turn with a bet/raise in front of me when I was the aggressor on the flop, AA don't look so good =(.

I would have folded also. I'm sure MP1 was drawing a flush and got it on the turn.

I'm actually a little surprised by everyone's responses. IMO if you were going to fold, the place to do it was the turn when you were faced with 2. After hanging around, I wouldn't want to fold an overpair on a 17BB river, since I think 5% of the time anyone could be bluffing, and as a sanity call. If SB raised behind me, then I'd toss it.

This is why I was questioning myself. And had a 4th spade not fallen on the river, i certainly would have called. At this point though I was thinking, "Any spade beats me." Bet 17BB is a compelling argument in the other direction. I like the idea of the sanity call. Thank you.

There is no way you can call the river without a [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and SB to act behind you.

I don't like the turn call here either. MP1 wakes up on the turn when the flush hit. You are now facing a bet and a raise. At best MP1 just hit some strange two pair and you have outs. Most likely you are drawing slim to the non [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ace but probably are drawing dead. I'm folding the turn here.

I believe that we all agreed the turn is the place to fold.

Does the ginormous size of the pot affect any of these considerations?
