Re: how do u guys deal with tilting?
It'll take a lot more than that beat to tilt me.
Self-discipline is learned through experience, noone can teach it to you. Just get up, walk around, keep a stress ball close to you, punch something (something non-destructible hopefully), whatever it takes. The more poker you play, the easier it will get to control your emotions. |

Re: how do u guys deal with tilting?
Regarding the hand you posted, other than the horrible original preflop call which MP made, he was quite close on his calls for the remainder of the hand. Check out his pot odds and you will agree, I'm sure. Therefore, no real reason to tilt in my estimation.

You don't deal with tilting. Tilting deals with you.
If I know I am playing bad, I can stop, but it's the times when I'm not aware of it that can cause harm to my bankroll. olavfo |

Re: how do u guys deal with tilting?
I have learned to see the beauty of randomness, but I will never claim to understand it. Does this make any sense?
BTW, I don't tilt. |

"5) Do not be too proud to realize you've been outplayed. You're not the best in the world... yet"
I like. |
