Default odds confusion

Okey im a bit confused about how to use odd correctly at the poker table. So far iv be following this stratagy:

1 Find the number of valid outs
2 calculate pot odds
3 calculate implied pot odds
4 compair implied odds against the odds of improving your hand.
5 call when pot odds are greater than hand odds.

In this image of poker office its displaying the pot odds and the odds of making the flush and over pair but its got playable odds of 2.1:1 in yellow? How does it come this number and what exaclty does it mean.

Im confused because id have worked out the odds of making my flush as 4:1 and called because im getting 6.5:1 and figured its profitable but i would'nt have came up with the yellow number and maybe this is where im going wrong.

I dunno maybe im just dumb, was never good at maths but can somebody give me some examples of how they use odds at the table to make plays when they think they are behind and when they think they are ahead and way ahead.

cheers

Wow can you get stats like that on the interface with Poker Tracker, because damn that would make 4 tabling a tad easier.

In the screenshot you have two ways of improving to the likely best hand, flush or overpair. To make the flush you have 9 outs. To make the overpair you have 6 outs. You have 47 unseen cards, i.e. 15 cards will improve you and 32 (47-15) will not improve you. Hence, your playable odds are 32:15 or 2.1:1 (you get 2.1 by divinding by 15 on each side, i.e. 32/15=2.1). So the 2.1 shown in pokeroffice is your playable odds.

I run pokertracker and pokeroffice at the same time, using the odds and betting actions from pokeroffice and statistics from pokertracker. See screenshot:

Can you do this 4-tabling? Whats the processing overhead of using both applications simultaneously?
