QQ - Do you call this guy here?
Only been playing UB for the last week so I don't know anything about the opponent.....opponent to act after me is a maniac.
Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.25 BB (10 handed) converter UTG+1 ($25.25) Hero ($46.10) MP1 ($21.80) MP2 ($12.20) MP3 ($35.65) CO ($25) Button ($24.65) SB ($6.15) BB ($19.75) UTG ($40.10) Preflop: Hero is UTG+2 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $0.25. <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $0.5</font>, UTG+1 calls $0.50, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $1.5</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP2 calls $1.50, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, SB calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls $1.50, UTG+1 calls $1. Flop: ($8) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(5 players)</font> <font color="#CC3333">SB bets $4.65 (All-In)</font>, UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, Hero?? Re: QQ - Do you call this guy here?
put him on range of hands given his action so far. and see how you measure up against those range of hands, then consider the pot odds, then decide your move.
personally I put him on at least a K, and I have 6 outs (2 Qs 4 Ts) and pot odds don't seem to offer enough for 6 outer, so I'd fold |

You're in this predicament because of your wimply reraise preflop. Make it real ($3) or not at all. I prefer real ($3).

Re: QQ - Do you call this guy here?
I think a 3x raise is appropriate. A 6x raise would pretty much kill any action except perhaps from a hand definitely better than QQ. I think I would rather make the 3x raise to get some action, and be prepared to give it up if an A or K flops.
The other problem with a 6x raise is that you can't make it with most other hands you open with and if you change up your opening bets when you have a big pair, it won't take your opponents long to figure it out. I do agree with the fold, and I would chalk it up to the cost of doing business with a QQ. |

Re: QQ - Do you call this guy here?
I don't see SB folding to even a $3 raise. I think if he raises $3 then SB pushes all-in . THose MF'ers are crazy.

Re: QQ - Do you call this guy here?
I probably would have called the short stack if there was no player to act behind me....what do you think about the guy behind me?
