UPDATE 2: I'm Back, Baby!

So we will be seeing you put some bad beats on Phil Hellmuth at the WSOP ME?

Is this hand illustrating something, or what did I miss?

[/ QUOTE ]

It just illustrates why I'm happy to be at empire.

However, if anyone would like to debate the validity of my turn action, I'd love to hear it.

Get raised somewhere postflop so you can 3-bet. Also, don't include results with hands, it creates a results-oriented bias.

I never looked at the results...and yes, party rules. (also, you might want to consider check/folding the turn. you will see 55 here about 97% of the time.)

Back at empire, clearing the bonus with more than enough to clear the max.

Hero has Ah Tc (full house, tens full of fives).
SB has 4d 8h (two pair, tens and fives).
Outcome: Hero wins 11 BB.

The sad question is, would SB have called the river if he didn't hit his pair, even though it didn't play?

The dude called with TT55 and an 8 kicker (the pair of 4s he rivered doesn't play)

Don't know how your bankroll sits now or anything, but if you can spare it, you might give Full Tilt's bonus a try. The website shows they have the 100% bonus up to $600 until the end of the month. They do, however, give you 4 months to clear it. Looks like it'll take a while to clear depending on what limit you play, but it's definitely a generous bonus.

I don't know if it would be worth it. It takes about 250 hands to clear $5 in bonus at .50-1. I know because that's what I'm trying to do. I ain't gonna do that one again.
