Default AA - could anyone guess Villian\'s hand?

I am comfortable with how I played this for the most part - Villian has been rammin and jammin with gold or crap for about an hour....would anyone slow down at all? I hate big pots with one pair (topic of another recent post)

He either has AQ, QQ or KK (or a complete bluff). I guess I like the call with your read, but you could be losing a lot here.

Wrong, maybe, wrong (& wrong).

I would say villian was either on a flush draw, spiked a set (less likely), or managed to hit the str8 with 7-8 or X-3 thanks to the good fortune of Party Poker.

I think he is definately trying to take this pot down with a semi-bluff. I don't care how big of a maniac you are, I don't think he is going to lead out with a massive overbet with any hand that beats you at this point. I like your call for sure.

I can see him making this move with any AQ,KQ, but I think it is more likely he has any two facecards that are both hearts. If he is very loose pf, then any axs of hearts or kxs of hearts. I really hope he didn't have a3 of hearts lol.

birdwatching shows [ 4d, 6d ] two pairs, sixes and fours.
Finite_Risk doesn't show [ As, Ac ] a pair of aces.
birdwatching wins $10.2 from side pot #1 with two pairs, sixes and fours.
birdwatching wins $104.65 from the main pot with two pairs, sixes and fours.

Could have guessed for a day and not gotten this one...chaulked it up to moronic play that worked...proceeded to get this money, and the rest of his stack back about 15min later.

I guess my biggest question I was asking myself was "Am I ahead right now" the result is the result - if you get the money in with the best odds, eventually it'll pay off

If you read my last post - my only question was whether I was ahead when the money went in - in the long-run, this is all that matters...I can handle bad beats, it happens and I don't need to vent them (you know, we win those too!)

i dont know why people guess legitimate holdings in response to these types of posts. i was pretty sure the moment i read the title that it was a shitty bad beat story. my first guess however, was 33.
