Default Losing Money at Party

Party is supposed to be the Promised Land of bad players, right? I just finished my 5th consecutive losing session on Party, dropping $50 at $.5/1 Limit and having lost $180 total in those 5 sessions. I've been bonus clearing and having small wins at $1/2 and $2/4 on Absolute & Stars. It seems from other posts that only a fool can't win at Party and these limits. In the final session I played 3 hours and was down $20, and then lost the rest during a run of 15 hands when the table was shorthanded that included:

1. QQ beaten by KK
2. AQo vs A9, board A x x 9 x
3. KK vs Ax, board x x A A x
4. TT vs J7, board x x x J x
5. flopped str8 folded on river to x [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
6. K10 vs QQ board 10 10 Q x x
7. AA (all-in after flop)vs JTo, board 9 7 x 8 x

The last 2 were consecutive- when I saw the aces I was angry that because of the big loss on set vs set hand I didn't have enough on the table to go to the river. I raised each hand pre-flop except the flopped str8 from the BB - big pots but almost all the bets went in pre-flop or on the flop. I was calling for showdown by river except for numbers 1 & 2. With a shorthanded situation (5 or 6 players), should I have been playing these hands? These type hands have been typical for the losing sessions - Am I making bad decisions?

It's only 5 sessions. It's one long game you play through out your life. So you ran into some bad luck and better cards. Don't let it bug you.

If it makes you feel any better I've probably found some of it.

Losing money on 5 consecutive sessions is not the end of the world - I mean, granted, it's not fun, but if you keep playing TAG poker you're going to be fine and win at a pretty good clip. Here is not the place to vent, it's the place to post hands and let US see if you're doing anything wrong.

No, poker is hard. Just becasue your opponents are bad doesn't mean you will automatically win. You have to work at it.
