I agree that it is a lot less painful to call at $10+1, but they don't call it the idiot end for nothing.

Call me crazy, but given the action so far, I don't think anyone has KQ. I personally would be much more concerned if either MP2 or CO flat called on the flop. On a rainbow flop like this, I see no reason why someone with KQ would try to raise and bully people out of the pot.
I say that UTG, MP2 and CO each have hands that they think are good right now, but they want to get the straight draws to fold... stuff like AJ, JQ, JT, maybe 99... I would call here confidently (or reraise all in if I had more chips) and expect to be ahead when the cards are turned over... Another consideration is that you're the short stack at the table, and this is as good a time as any to get back into it... |
