Default JJ....Flopping set and waiting until turn to raise plus river action

MP2 is 50/2/.5 and BB is 30/10/2 after 40 hands.

Is waiting until the turn to raise okay with such a draw heavy board? Straight and flush draws weren't folding, so I wanted to charge them more on the turn assuming the agressive BB would bet again.

Would you 3bet the river? I thought with the overlay from MP2 a 3bet was worthwhile.

I would rather go ahead and raise the turn because I'd want to get my money in when I'm ahead.

And the concept of "charging flush draws" is pretty dumb.

Raising the frop would prevent your river confusion, methinks. Also the flop is two-tone with two broadway. They will pay you off and you have a monster. This is not a good spot to protect. Raise for value.

Raise the flop. If BB has a weak K or a flush draw he may not even bet the turn, especially after receiving two callers.

So wouldn't it be more correct to wait until the turn to extract more value? Of course this would depend on the probability that the agressive BB would bet out on the turn again.

I wasn't in a position to raise to protect me hand.

You miss bets by doing this.

If you're lucky, BB may 3-bet you on the frop. Like others have stated, the board is draw heavy. Get you money in when you're ahead.
