Thanks for the comments... unfortunately in a rash moment I pushed (I put him on 9x and thought there's no way he knows I have the straight). He obviously called with 66.
I have been losing a fair bit lately to suck-outs (had just lost an allin on the flop when I was 99.4% favourite) - its times like these I play too much catch-up poker and I think sometimes I forget there is an option of calling. However, calling his checkraise doesn't really give me much idea what he's got if he bets allin on river. I've always been a raise or fold person. I guess I could have raised with a little more subtlety. anyway, you live and learn.
