Re: Finally at 15/30... A9s in CO... call, call, call, call
[ QUOTE ]
MP2 doesn't look like he's got a set of tens or sixes. [/ QUOTE ]WHY NOT??? im not realy into the coldcall preflop... i like the river call. of course, if the river did not pair the board then you would clearly raise it. |

Re: Finally at 15/30... A9s in CO... call, call, call, call
I would never raise this river, because I'd have folded on the flop, and I'd never call on the flop, because I folded preflop.

Re: Finally at 15/30... A9s in CO... call, call, call, call
Could you explain why you would fold preflop?
You have 2 bad players who cold called, most of the time one of the blinds is probably going to call as well and you have good position. Also when you do hit a nice hand you will be payed off. So why do you fold? Is it because you don't play well postflop or an other reason? Saying you wouldn't call the flop because you would have folded preflop isn't a good reason IMO. Let's say you were the BB in this hand and UTG bets out and all call. Now what? Thanks, Guido |

Re: Finally at 15/30... A9s in CO... call, call, call, call
IMO it's -EV to COLD CALL against an unknown or tight UTG raiser with A9s. The long shot you are planning to hit is too expensive IMO, and you are likely dominated if an Ace flops. The worst a tight raiser has here is AK.
I want to be the bettor/raiser post flop not the caller. [ QUOTE ] Let's say you were the BB in this hand and UTG bets out and all call. Now what? [/ QUOTE ] In that case I call preflop for 1 sb, and check call the flop if the same action develops, the turn call is mandatory as well. The way this went down, MOFO showed you TT for a fullhouse. |

SB had A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
MP2 had K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] |

preflop is close i think, but the flop call is a no brainer.

Re: Finally at 15/30... A9s in CO... call, call, call, call
I don't like your preflop call. You are only getting a little more than 3.5 to 1 with cold callers and what figures to be a dominated hand. Plus the possibility of a raise behind you. The call on the flop is ok. Calling the turn and river were ok. Raising the River might be wrong beacause of the raise on the turn. Question: Would you have raised if it were only 1 bet to you on the turn?

Certainly not from MP1 or MP2, they wouldn't fold anyway. In general I think I would rarely raise. Thanks, Guido |
