Aggression check: AJo bubble resteal w < 10xbb
Moved to this table two hands ago, I'm shorty with 8xbb and we're about 25 spots from the money. UTG+1 minraises; I used to fear monsters here, but 70% of the time in low buyins I'm shown mid-aces, broadway combos, low pairs, etc... so I just tend to ignore it absent a specific player note. Anyone play this differently due to the min-raise?

Re: Aggression check: AJo bubble resteal w < 10xbb
hmmmm - i agree on the utg min raise - i see it faaaaaar too often for it to be what it "should be"
it seems to me that utg is seen by many as prime stealing territory as it wouldnt be expected - ots the only reason i can think of for seeing so much crap played from that position (low buy in specific) i push here but wouldnt be too surprised to be beaten i dont see how you can wait with the BB hitting in three hands - even slightly more chips id say easy fold.. rgds Stephen |
