Re: Switch from Poker Tracker to Poker Office?
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] PO and PT doesn't work at the same time, at least not on my computer.. [/ QUOTE ] I just tried this, it works perfectly for me. I now have PT/GT+ displaying the stats from my PT database and pokeroffice/overlay showing the betting actions and pot odds. I had to configure GT+ to display the stats above the name box and then PO displays the betting actions under the name box and the pot odds in the middle of the table. This is very neat. But I must say that I prefer the PO statistics over the PT statistics (bigger selection in overlay compared to GT+) so I probably will use PO for stats as well. But this is certainly feasible. [/ QUOTE ] Might you be willing to pop in some screen shots of this.... I would like to see how it is running four tables. To damn bad I have an empire account I would have signed up for the free software for 250 raked hands. |

Re: Switch from Poker Tracker to Poker Office?
So should I switch to Poker Office? I really like the part about counting outs and odds, in the Screen Shot it shows playable outs and odds in green, I was wondering does it have a color code like RED for Check/Fold YELLOW for Check/Call and GREEN for Bet/Raise or is it just green? Also does it show you just your outs to "improve" your hand or like it talks about in SSHE where some cards will not hurt your hand and some cards will cause a split pot etc.
I am seriously considering swithing from PT to PO. Big Steve |

Re: Switch from Poker Tracker to Poker Office?
I was just reading thier forum which is weak. This software only offers 1 screen name so aliases are out.
The software seems PT wins by a land slide for me with Playback feature as well. |

datamining?
Can you datamine with Poker Office? Also I love pokertracker, but it is becoming a PITA when the databases get large. I am thinking about trying pokeroffice just because of the mYSQl backend

Re: Switch from Poker Tracker to Poker Office?
jesus christ dude, it's not like you have a contract of exclusivity with either of them. here's my crazy idea: try whatever software you want to. if you like it, keep using it. if you find it renders another piece of software you were using obsolete, stop using the old software. if it doesn't, you can still use both.

Re: datamining?
Yes, you can datamine with pokeroffice. You can actually even datamine pokerstars (unlike with PT).

Re: Switch from Poker Tracker to Poker Office?
Thats not bad. running both at one time might be worth the purchase.
Maybe The guys over at PT will add in some of these features next time around on V3 |
