Preflop disaster and postflop didn\'t get much better...
Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 6 handed) converter
Preflop: Hero is BB with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG calls, MP raises, 1 fold, Button calls, SB calls, Hero calls, UTG 3-bets, MP calls, Button calls, SB caps, Hero calls, UTG calls, MP calls, Button calls. SB is terrible, he caps because he doesn't want to wait another round of betting calling before he gets to see a flop. UTG and MP are reasonable, MP could have a pretty decent range of hands here. UTG's limp reraise scares the crap out of me, but I'm in no position to fold now. Was it a horrible mistake to just call this when it got to me the first time or was it a horrible mistake to not fold? Did I choose the hated 3rd worst decision? Flop: (20 SB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (5 players) SB bets, Hero raises, UTG calls, MP calls, Button calls, SB calls. Ok, I don't like the flop, but maybe I can fold out AK, KJ... I dunno that pot is a friggan monster. Yeah, they all called I'm not investing another dollar unless I improve; come on running Q's! Turn: (15 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players) SB checks, Hero checks, UTG checks, MP checks, Button checks. Nut high card! ... yeah, I think it's time for me to bow out. River: (15 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (5 players) SB bets, Hero folds, UTG calls, MP calls, Button folds. I dreaded that this would be folded around, but there's no way I can call this. If you disagree feel free to let me know, but I'm more interested in the Preflop, flop situations. Final Pot: 18 BB cjx |

Re: Preflop disaster and postflop didn\'t get much better...
I don't think the flop raise will do much for you given the pot size and your opponentns apparent interest in their hands, I'd call and see what utg does. Preflop is fine, I think a 3-bet is a little thin but it isn't -ev, I just think calling is more profitable.
