Default how long tournaments last

Hello, I am trying to figure out if there is a calculation that can be used to determine how long a tourney will last. Looking on homepokertourney.com it seems that I can use a calculation of (small blind + big blind) sb+bb = 15% of the chips, but they say that only applies for up to 20 players. In something like WSOP that calculation fails by a huge factor.

Basically I am looking for n, where sb+bb = n*chips-in-play, giving the level where the tourney will end.

Is there an easy place whee I can review the final level of major tournies? One place I can look is in tourney reports, especially those from the late, great Andy Glazer, where he mentions the level they are on, and how many chips were in play, but is there anywhere where that data has been collected for many tournies?

Thanks very much for any help on this. As a bonus, I will have a free gift (soon) for anyone who can give me some serious help on this.

Thanks,
Paul
