Default FullTilt Cystic Fibrosis Tourney

Is anyone in this? Started with 425 people. I'm still hanging around in it, just got a huge double up with QQ vs. AK to move me into the top 20 in chips. About 100 people left, 45 paid.

Dealer: HERO calls 2,000
Dealer: Foghorn calls 1,700
Dealer: The flop is [Ad 8s 9d]
Dealer: Foghorn checks
Dealer: D12LOC bets 3,500
Dealer: HERO raises to 20,939, and is all in
Dealer: D12LOC calls 4,632, and is all in
Dealer: HERO shows [Qd Ah]
Dealer: D12LOC shows [Jd Jh]
Dealer: Uncalled bet of 12,807 returned to HERO
Dealer: The turn is [5d]
Dealer: The river is [Qs]
Dealer: HERO shows two pair, Aces and Queens
Dealer: D12LOC shows a pair of Jacks
Dealer: HERO wins the pot (23,464) with two pair, Aces and Queens

Down to 3 tables, I've lost a few chips. Folded AK after it didn't hit, and also lost a big pot when I helf T9, flopped J87. I check-min-raised, he called, turn was a T. I bet about 1/3 or so of the pot, he called. River was a 9. I lost to AQ. Probably should have bet the flop harder.

Currently 14th in chips with 27 to play.

Thanks for the well-wishing guys.

Down to the final two tables, I'm in 8th place of 18.

I went card-dead at the wrong time, and fell to last place. (10 of 10.) I pushed with 55, and got two callers.

Board came 87346. I didn't need the straight, as they both had high cards, but I tripled up. Now 6th of 10. Final table is at 9 people, silly FTP.

Thanks, we're down to 6, and I'm in 6th place. I still have enough chips to work with though, so I'm not on life-support yet.

Chip leader with 5 to play, after my A4 flops a straight!

EDIT: This was supposed to be posted about an hour ago, but it was sitting waiting to be submitted.

Here's some notes I took on the tourney. Sorry if it's ugly to read. Any comments appreciated. This is from final 5 on.

Min-raise from MP. SB calls. I call from BB with 76s. Flop is all spades. I bet about 1/3 of the pot. MP pushes. I call. She has Ace of spades. No other spade hits, and I'm huge chip leader.

Some [censored] happened really fast. We're down to 3. I'm 2nd in chips, but barely behind.

Went down to 3rd after my A9 failed to bust Shortstack's TT.

Heads up. He has a big chip lead. I double up early on, with 77 against his 76. He's still up a little under 2to 1.

Take a pretty big pot. We now have only a 60k difference.

I fall back a bit, getting as low as 130k. (678k in play)

Whew. Double up with A6 against his K2. He flopped a 2, but I turned a 6. I'm back in this thing.

In the BB with AJh. He raises (8k/16k) to 48k. I repop it to 128k. He thinks about it for a while, and then pushes. I hesistate for about 3 secs, and then call. He shows 89o. Flop is 426, two clubs. Ace of clubs on the turn. He has a club, I don't, so I have to dodge it on the river. River is a black 7, the sweetest spade ever! He's now down to less than the SB. We auto post 2 hands, and he wins both. He has enough to almost post a full BB. I have KQ of spades. I obviously call. He has 54o. Flop J3Q rainbow. T of spades on the turn seals it, the river Jack of spades gives me a meaningless flush. OMG, I won!!!!

I wish I had better notes, but I don't have PokerTracker or anything like that, and the action was too fast to take better notes. When I first started playing seriously I was a break-even player. I had won a 41 person FTP tourney, but that was about it. Then I discovered 2+2. Though I don't read the poker content as much as I should (damn you OOT) I really believe that 2+2 has helped my game immensely. This is my 4th multi-table win, but the others were under 200 entrants. This one was 452, and my biggest score ever (yes, only a grand, but still...) I still have a long way to go, but this was a big confidence boost after some bad running lately.

Thanks all you Sup Bro's, Ootians, Alizee fans and Brown Trouts!
