Semi-Steal Called but Got Good Flop...
What do people think of this? Party 33. I've been trying to experiment with stealing one or two sets of blinds on level 3 if I fall below 650, trying to get myself into the 750-800 level so I still have decent FE if I don't get any steal opportunities on level 4 until after I have to pay the blinds.
Read on both blinds is that they're willing to fold but will go with marginal hands or draws at times. Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (5 handed) converter Hero (t625) Button (t1380) SB (t1620) BB (t3435) UTG (t940) Preflop: Hero is MP with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. 1 fold, Hero raises to t175, 1 fold, SB calls t150, 1 fold. Re: Semi-Steal Called but Got Good Flop...
Not a big fan of this steal attempt. There are still 3 in front of you and BB is big stack. Many BB Big stacks will call this without batting an eye. If it was folded to you on button or sb with only medium stacks in front of you I think its okay.
That said, the flop push is a must. |
