Anyone ever get that sinking feeling...
It's after you've made a quick, generally not thoroughly thought out post. You go back and check out the thread in threaded mode and see that El D has replied to your post.
You don't even need to read it to know three things. 1) You were wrong. 2) You are about to find out exactly how. 3) You are about to read a witty, irrefutable putdown. Targeted at you. #$!% Will |

If I'm going to get owned, LD is probably my first choice. Him or Zee.

No doubt.
But when other posters reply, it doesn't necessarily mean that I was wrong. Will |

Re: Anyone ever get that sinking feeling...
Plan A: Attempt to edit your post so as to fix the error. Make sure you unselect the "mark post as edited" option. If the edit is accepted because you were within the time limit, post a reply to El D or whomever accusing him of smoking crack and having limited reading comprehension on the basis that he totally misread your post. If you are not within the time limit, proceed to Plan B.
Plan B: Claim that an imposter hijacked your handle and posted something you would obviously never post since it is so clearly wrong. |
