WPT Qualifier on Absolute

I won a 150+12 entry for a WPT Qualifier that was supposed to be this weekend. When I looked for the tourney it was gone so I emailed them. I found that I was registered to one for the 15th. I assumed they cancelled the one for this weekend and just registered me in the next one. I'm out of town then so I asked if I could get tournament credit or cash for the entry. They said that the April 15th one was the only one and they couldn't transfer it. I asked them what happened to the one this weekend and they said again that the only one this month is April 15th.
First, was anyone else in the one this weekend? Second, any recommendations to what I can do?
I came back from a 3.5-1 deficit when heads up to get the seat and am pissed I would have been better off just taking the piddly 2nd place money.
