I don't think relieving your own guilt is a good reason to burden your wife with any of these things. That's the point of guilt; its existence is supposed to prevent you from doing these things again (or at least as often). I guess you feel like you need to tell someone, but any other person on Earth would be a better choice than her. Tell a priest, tell a shrink, tell your bartender, tell anyone else but her. . .
