Turn: (t177.50) 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, UTG bets t70, Hero folds.

Final Pot: t247.50

What do you think? Seems to me like I'm either badly beaten by a set or easily outkicked. It's early on, and I don't want to risk any sizeable part of my stack on a marginal hand.

Would you call if you knew you were going to river a 9 ?

Edit: My bad, didn't read my pattern mapper right, you were going to river an 8.

Edit again: Ok, if you think I'm being a jerk, just let me rephrase. Hey, there was just a discussion on a similar hand.

Too dangerous to bet out at that flop with 3 others in the pot. Check/call to reasonable action is the preferred line to me.

No need to apologize. I was just noticing how similar, letting you know you should check it out, and being a smart ass.
