Default easy laydown

playing 10/20 NL at the Commerce, I have 1k and villain has me covered

villian limps UTG and two more limpers to me, and I make it 150 to go on the button with JJ... villain and both limpers call

flop comes JTT with a two-flush; villain leads out 300 and it's folded to me

so I raised pre-flop and then this guy leads into two cold callers and me??? I've shown almost infinite strength so there's no way he has anything but the rock-solid nuts... I fold instantly and smile to myself as I think of all the non 2+2'ers who might actually lose their stack here

I should just stop reading 2+2 for the rest of the day, 4/5 of the posts are dumb april fools jokes. I even got excited about the 2001FP monitor one

I forgot it was April 1 when I posted this... it's sad that I have to explain, but this post was intended as satire, not as a joke; the point was to critique all the hands that are like "I have the second nuts but he raised me once so it's an easy fold"

Go find a thread that compares to your ridiculous example, and post it under my response.

If you think your Commerce story mirrors someone calling a villian's pf raise with QQ, the flop coming A-Q-x, and the hero has to think about calling the villain's all-in push, you're wrong. Each situation carries a number of variables.

I agree that there have been a few posts where someone has presented a situation that really wasn't too difficult. But that's here and there, and not the majority. Also take into account that not everyone is as good as you.
