Default 1st time vegas trip

Iam taking my little bro to vegas in June for his first trip. He's gagging to play holdem { like the rest of the world right now } and i don't want to see him get eaten alive. What are some of the friendlier low limit games i could take him to. { iam an AC guy so any help would be great }

Thanks

i would say the smaller the poker room, the less chance to get eaten by a shark, but i could be wrong. and by small, i mean like 5 tables in the room. an example of this would be the flamingo (last time i was there i think there was 4 tables).id think hed be safe at a 2-4 game there.

Ditto for the Flamingo. Small room, only a few tables, not too crowded.

Bally's 2/4 is softer than a soaked sponge. I've heard the same about Imperial Palace, but didn't play there to know for sure.

Excalibur is a great place for beginners and a good room in general. 1-3 and 2-6 spread and 'Baby" No-Limit.
Imperial Palace would be a fine choice as well.
I have heard good things about the Alladin and it sounds like the new MGM room might be worth a look as well.
Basically you should be able to find a low limit game just about everywhere now.

add the sahara to the juicy 2/4 mix. Excalibur is very soft but it's only spread limit which I don't like as much. Alladin is cool (also cool soft cheap tournaments). I can confirm Imperial Palace is soft but the room is sort of a dive.

Harrah's spreads a very fishy 3/6 and it's a decent room. IP, Bally's etc don't really have a separate room, just another spot on the floor.

Excalibur hands down, a ton of LL games, short wait likely, nice not severely cramped room with a very close bathroom, and occasionally edible free food.

1-3, 2-6, 4/8, and 1/2 NL usually going...
