Default open challenge final reports, and another apology

heya.

first off, its the last day of march, so time to report those numbers. In thread of pm will be fine, and unlike the past few weeks, i will actually post final results, i promise.

On that note, i am announcing the end of the open challenge, at least as far as i am concerned. It has been alot of fun, but i feel im not taking *my* responsabilities seriously enough, and am in general just a lazy bastard. Ask brian, he has been hounding me for standings all month. (for the record brian, i am admitting to being a lazy bastard,, although i wasnt on nearly as long as it seemed, i often leave two plut two open to a particular section. though i do apologize, im a lazy bastard, see above)

The open challenge has helped me a tremendous amount, but frankly, with summer approaching and the demands on my time (yeah right, i just like sitting in the sun drinking) i dont think i would run it to anyones satisfaction.

However, i think its still a great idea that helps people focus on the fact that as winning players, we should be concerned with the amount of time we spend at the table, and not with the amount of money we take off the table. I would really like to see a set of personal challenges crop up, where posters engage in friendly duals, old west style. Or, if someone wants to take over the challenge and start running it, thats fine also, hell, i might even participate. But, in the end, im going to have to admit to being lazy, and resign my post. Ok, back to not playing.

peace

23401. Not anywhere near my goal, but it was half the hands I planned at twice my normal winrate, so at least I was efficient.

I'd like to do this again next month, but if not I'm accepting challengers. I plan on at least 30k.

I believe that I would be willing to take over the whole project if that would be OK with everyone. Im not nearly as smart.. or clever... or cool, but I am organized! I really like the idea and it has really motivated me. There is no way I could have gotten as many hands if it werent for a good challenge.

Oh yah, I'm not reporting numbers until 11:59pm

Sad to say... work started to interfere w/ poker... so didn't get many hands in... (probably didn't need to play any).
