The 67 number is next to totals - a total of 67 hours.
And plenty of people play more than 24 hour sessions. they probably just record it for the day the session began |

"It's actually low but it's only after 61 hours. I think the best players in that game should hope to make a big bet an hour despite what Sklansky seems to think."
I don't consider that a dig. If someone disagrees with me I much prefer he mentions me by name. Most authors don't have the guts to. I would point out though that my comment about no one being able to make a half a bet an hour applied to 4000-8000, full table, multiple, limit games, without amateurs. Daniel is talking about something else. |

I don't consider that a dig. [/ QUOTE ] David you are, with maybe the exception of my buddy Mason, maybe the best Poker Mind ever. But take it from the "master of digging' Daniel was tossing a "dig" at you. Vince |

He got another Sklansky dig in in that thread too. What's with Daniel's sudden obsession with him? [/ QUOTE ] I don't see that as much of a dig. I am sure you will really take offense on Sklansky's behalf over this tidbit from Daniels Blog today. Later David Sklansky dropped by the game to say hello and chit chat for a while. That dude cracks me up. He pointed out that I was wrong about Lee Salem reading his books. In a post in the forum I'd said that I didn't think Lee had read Sklansky's work. I stand corrected. Apparently Lee is a fan of Davids writing and has read several of his books. For all the poking and jabbing that goes on with David and I, I genuinely like the guy. We disagree on a ton of stuff, but that doesn't make me think any less of him as a man... it just makes me believe that I could whup his butt at the poker table! :-) |

FWIW, it came up in a Full Tilt Tourney I was playing with Howard Lederer, and the professor seemed to agree with David that 1BB/hr was not possible in the 4000/8000 game. Hell, if a good 100/200 game is barely 1BB/hr, I can't imagine what the 4000/8000 game is like.
