Neteller Question

Quick question, I just opened a Neteller account and I transfered $80 from Party Poker into it. Do I need to have a banking account set up to it in order for it to work? I want to just use this for reloading and I don't want it attached to anything where if someone gets my account, they can transfer over $80 out of. Second, how long do cash outs take on Party Poker?

Me neither. I'm living out of the country so they won't let me. You are able to wire transfer money to normal bank account, but they will charge you.

I kinda like having no easy access to my money right now. It's been very good for the bankroll.

Some people set up a special bank account that they only use for neteller, and that has a zero balance most of the time.

That doesn't address your concern of people getting access to you bank account AND your neteller account and taking your bankroll, but it does address the more common concern of having your main bank account linked to some company in Gibraltar with whom ultimately you have no practical resource.

Don't know about the first part, but cash outs are SUPER fast at Party. My first cash-out appeared in my Neteller account in 5-6 hours from the time I requested it from Party.

At the one other site I played (7Sultans) they would have a 24 hour "wait and think period."

Kudos for Party!

You can put money on to an online credit card, but most U.S. banks will decline a Visa/ATM transaction from a foreign (Canadian) based firm such as Netteller. If you're adamant about not using a bank account, you can use an e-Visa like e-Passporte or use a Visa/MC issued by a foreign bank. (There's a place in Norway that does it; I can't remember the name right now, but they're on Google).

Thanks, that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I cashed out this morning and I haven't seen my money in Neteller and I didn't know if something wrong.

Question...can you sign up a neteller acoount say under my friends name and transfer money from my account to his, then use it toc reate a gnome account at empire,party,etc?

I don't know... no experience with creating NETeller's without checking accounts. Regardless, you can't play from the same computer for a gnome (with regards to casino bonuses).
