[ QUOTE ]
I'm going to be in the area next week. I'll be staying at a house near the Muck, and I may get a chance to play on Sunday 4/3. Can anyone fill me in on what to expect on a Sunday night in terms of wait time and competition at 4/8 or lower?
Also, how are the craps/BJ? What minimums and odds?

Thanks

[/ QUOTE ]

BJ, the rules are shitty. Min $5 max $500, 6 decks s17 double anytime, except on a split.

Craps, $5min $500 max, double odds. I'm actually up $45 in craps this year, playing with friends for very short runs, playing pass line and come bets, taking the odds.

4/8 and lower are gravy games, expect to wait 15 to 20 minutes during hte day, and up to an hour if you wait until the early evening. Then half the room leaves at 7pm, the 4/8 will remain good but the daytime nits who come in for the weekly drawing have to get home(aka bernie ).

I have played 4/8 at Lill's and 3/6 at the Muck to date. Lill's actually seemed a lot looser. Any other rooms worth checking out in the area?

I've found lill's a lot looser also. The smoke just gets to me for some reason though. It's not like the muck is smoke free either, though on the mid limit tables it's normally a little better because most of the regulars don't smoke, or they smoke away from the table.

you're not kidding on that one. that smoke aint no joke. I have allergies, and from playing about 20-30 hours a week, I developed a nasty cough for 2 weeks. Fortunately, it's starting to go away.

Parkers is by far the shittiest casino I have ever been in.

The nicest casino in washington is teh Clearwater, its a ferry ride over from Seattle, which they will pay for. But by far the nicest casino and poker room.

Hey, what's wrong with the Midway? Ratty back room for poker (4 tables), well worn 'felt', greenhorn dealers and air that you can trust (never trust air that you can't see). Add to that a mix of ancient drunks and young punks (with their $50 buyins for 3/6) at the table and you've got a winner.

I posted earlier but I dont think it went. Please forgive if it did...

I too am going to the Microsoft cofnerence and want to play poker Monday. I wont be renting a car, so what is the closest poker room to Bellvue that I can take a cab to that has lower limit Hold em?

Thanks in advance....
