1. i wouldn't really be playing A6 form MP1
2. after that, i think you played it well. you had top pair and bet it, then top 2P and bet it. the only way someone beats you is w/ a set (possible) or hits his 8 for top 2P (or the small likelyhood of that shitty straight).

A6s is fine to limp in MP after a couple limpers and a poster. I wouldn't worry too much about that.

Rest of the hand is fine.

In fact, A6s is fine to openlimp with UTG.

On a table that is capable of seeing 10 people to the flop you absolutely should be playing A6s from MP1. For only one bet you should be playing it from UTG and every other position on the table.
