Monitor issues....
Im not a huge hardware buff and was wondering what type resolution and sized monitor would be recommended for a poker workstation(4 tabling??) Specs or recommendations if at all possible.
I want to be able to 4 table VERY comnfortably and not be overlaping or having problems seeing the screens. |

Re: Monitor issues....
I wish my monitor was 1600*1200 instead of 1680*1050. Then again I can always 2 table, or have the chat boxes overlapping.

Re: Monitor issues....
Any monitor that can handle a 1600x1200 resolution will be able to 4-table without overlap. There are plenty of very nice 19"+ CRT monitors that will do this for anywhere from $150-400. To get this resolution on an LCD you're going to be spending $500+ and, as so many people here will recommend, a Dell 2001FP is a great choice.
I had been using an old 19" CRT with no complaints, but I just got my 2001fp yesterday and I have to say it really is a beautiful display. |

Re: Monitor issues....
My 2001fp is arriving today. I can't wait! I've been 4 tabling on a 15 inch laptop.

Re: Monitor issues....
I recommend the 2405FPW. I really like the widescreen display, and after playing on it for a week or so, I'm glad I dropped the extra $500 for the 2405.
