Re: Vegas buffets

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the Flamingo's buffet. It's only like $16 too, which seems cheaper than most. [/ QUOTE ] Absolutely agree. The wife and I stayed at the Hilton Grand Vacation behind Flamingo on our Honeymoon in 2003. With the hotel discount, the buffet was like $12. It ended up being our staple for our week there. |

Re: Vegas buffets
I second Al's endorsement for the Paris breakfast buffet. The only glitch is the lineups, so go early. It is spectacular.

Pairs, Las Vegas
For my money, Paris has is it all over Bellagio, and it's not really that close. But I like French food, and can do without the Sushi and such. Bellagio is high quality, but I think Paris is more interesting.

Re: Pairs, Las Vegas
The Flamingo buffet is NOT good.
The people who are saying it is have no idea and no clue. If you must eat simple Home Town Buffet style stuff, save $5 or $6 and hit Main St Station downtown. But really, spend the extra $7 and eat at the Alladin. Flamingo has a limited selection of food, and the main item...the prime rib...was tough and chewy...not good at all. This was during a trip last June. BTW, the place was 3/4 empty on a Friday night at 6:30 pm. I did not want to eat there, but everyone in the bachelor party outvoted me. I will note that one person in our group who likes really bland food, super loved this buffet. He is clearly out of his mind. Oh yeah, he thought Aladdin buffet was horrible and a rip. Everyone else absolutely loved it. Bottom line is Flamingo buffett is about $7 overpriced. |

Re: Vegas buffets
I've only tried 3 of them, but they were all great.
1) Mirage - great if you like seafood. 2) Bellagio 3) Paris I would recommend them all. |
