"Bad beat" story:

My brother calls me while I am in the middle of 3 tournies. Now, my bro don't like it that I play poker so much, and he doesn't like talking on the phone when I'm playing at the same time. So I have a shutdown policy where I close up all limit tables when he calls and I stop playing all but premium hands in tourneys - and those hands I play hard and fast to prevent having to think about the hand. So I'm 3rd in chips with 16 to go in a FTP 150, having been on the phone with my bro for about half an hour. I get AK in the BB, Button bets 450, I look down, at my 8K chips, and his 6K chips and pull the trigger so I can focus on the conversation again. He calls with.... 77. WTF!!!! You can all tell that I didn't catch. Very frustrating. I'm in a real tourney drought right now and was a coin flip away from ending it - a coin flip that never should have taken place IMHO.
