Default Hows my line with AA

Player reads :- MP1 is a loose passive fish. Button is fairly loose and fairly aggressive but is not stupid.

Was my line ok here or am I guilty of fancy play, should I have come out betting the flop or c/r the flop instead of waiting to c/r the turn?

You got too fancy.

The pot is pretty big so you should play straight forward. It's a massive blunder to slowplay overpairs in big pots. The only way I would wait for the turn is if that was the only way I could protect my hand. Here, a C/r on the flop is fine as there is only 2 other people in with you.

I C/r the flop to get it heads up and make flush draws pay.

Lead the turn

Lead the river.

i like to think that if you raise this flop you are knocking out MP and getting HU vs KK-JJ. that sounds nice.

c/r'ing the flop against a pf capper sounds pretty good. Get the other out, isolate a hand thats hopefully not 10 10 (maybe AK [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] ?)

ah. that brings up another point. Hero doesn't have the A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Protect the bullets, own the kings.

Yeah, I had a feeling I was getting too fancy in this hand. Part of the reason I played it this way was that the button had pulled a similar move on me a few hands previously and I wanted to get him back for it. Not good poker I know I guess thats a form of tilt I suppose isnt it?
Button had KK.

I was thinking about bet-calling the flop and check-raising the turn. Bad play?
