I agree T. I think Petriv's book is everything that is being asked for here.
I will say this, when you first open the book it is it intimidating. It gave me flash-backs to Junior year Finite Math class in high school. That being said, once you dive in it all falls into place quite well. Give Petriv a chance before we go writing a new version of an already good book. |

Petriv's book is what is being asked for here. One of the complaints raised is that it's too much like a math book.
Well, that because odds IS math! I don't see how you can have an odds book without math. (Kind of like complaining that the Bible is okay, but it has too much God stuff in it. ) Petriv's book really isn't that hard to get through... |

Give Petriv a chance before we go writing a new version of an already good book. [/ QUOTE ] Its out of print... Petrov thinks the book has served it's course. I was told this by the staff at the Gambler's Book Club. I bought an authorized photocopy. Sucks for me eh? TT [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] |

Wow. Petrev's book is selling for 38 bucks on Amazon. Some guy is selling his used copy for over fifty.
