no.
if MP2 is a maniac, folding this is terrible. You need to be aggressive on the flop to figure out where you are, especially against CO. Depending on the maniac and CO, I will either lead, or go for a check raise. If MP2 doesn't have a pair or better at least 1/6 times on the turn, you can call down the river unimproved. Add in your outs, which will very often be 6, and at least 3, and I call this down HU against any breed of what I consider to be a maniac.

If the maniac will raise the flop almost every time, I'll lead out and try to fold the cutoff. Then I'll plan on seeing a showdown, and putting in a few more bets if I hit an A or K.
