another \"why party rocks\" lesson (very low content)
Maybe it's my rock-like tendencies, but I've never been in a hand where I jammed every chance I got, including preflop.
Sorry for the low content, I won't make a habit of it. Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is MP3 with Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $0.75. Your river play isn't very good at all.

Doesnt matter.
He still might have it. I just call after he re-raises. |

I don't care how loose the guy is, when he raises your river bet you're hosed like 98% of the time.
When he caps it goes up to 99%. I think you got way lucky. |

Re: another \"why party rocks\" lesson (very low content)
I guess I'm also thinking what hands could he have that would be 3bet PF. JJ? Maybe. AJs? Iffy. But, I guess I was running aggressive on that hand and I might have gotten a tiny bit carried away. ;-)

Re: another \"why party rocks\" lesson (very low content)
Who knows.
I think more important than the pre-flop stuff you should ask yourself what hands is he raising/capping you with on the river that you beat. Once he makes that first river raise I'm not too concerned with what he did before the flop. What I am concerned with is that only a tiny minority of players make that raise without a Jack; and only a tiny minority of those players in the first tiny minority make that cap without a Jack. If you knew the guy was a maniac it's a little different story, but against someone who is simply overly loose I don't like it. |
