I would play the Helmuth Top Ten Hands plus AJ, KQ, ATs, KJs, QJs, JTs.

This isn't so much about value hands to play as what the outcome will be... you play tight enough.. and consistently beat the maniac every time you turn your cards over (in other words not the nuts but big hands)....you will turn the maniac into a calling station. Then you can really go to town on him and play big pairs post flop and beat him without your beats being costly. (e.g. a bad beat for 3 bets..doesn't sting so bad.

I agree with the guy that said stay aggressive. After you turn them into calling stations, it's nice to play them heads up.
