Hand # 1:

Why the mini-raise? Not that it would make any difference in the hand, because he would have still pushed and I assume you would still call.

Hand # 2:

I would raise 3 X the BB. I would not have pushed, however, I am not enough of an expert to know if the push is correct or not.

My thinking is this:

I raise 3X BB and maybe steal the blinds. If more than one call me I can see a flop, check/fold if I miss and still have enough chips left.

If the BB reraises and tries to put me all in and we are heads up, I call because of the pot odds and the fact that I will probably be ahead unless he has AA-77.

If more than one person is in the pot and he tries to put me all in, I fold.

Hand #1`
The miniraise was so I could get away from a re-raise from SB. I clearly was ready to call BB all-in.

Hand #2
The only reason I would think about a 3xBB raise would be to feign strength...I do think the all in may have looked weak or steaming as I lost the last hand.

With the BB at only 100 I don't really like it. If it was the next level this would be pretty close to automatic.

oops I thought these were both from the 100-200 level for some reason

hand 1:

raise to 400 and fold to a reraise from the passive SB

hand 2:

fold PF
