Default % winning at showdown

Hi,

what is a good % of winning at showdown? I am slightly losing and have a 46% of wins when went to showdown. I think my big problem has been calling many stupid All ins.

Let me know...

How stupid were they if you called and were behind?

55% give or take seems cool..

I think the calling of all ins maybe the bigger problem post a hand...

I think this number will very a lot depending on your playing style.

It also can have little bearing on whether you're winning.

Picture these:
Player A wins 90% of all showdowns. But he doesn't know when to let go.... he wins 9*$2 pots and loses 1*$50 pot -- He's losing $32 in 10 hands.
Player B wins 30% of all showdowns.... he gambles with mediocre cards on small pots and gives a lot of action, so when he makes a monster, he gets paid big... he loses $3*7 hands but gets paid better for his 3 wins ($5 + $20 + $50 he took from player A) - for a net of $54.

The % of winning alone is practically meaningless.
