American Idol..................this worries me

Tonight on the AI forums the mods are going crazy deleting posts and have put up a post saying all spoilers will be removed. As i understand it the show is no longer done live and tomorrows show was taped today.

One that i saw before it was taken down said this



My friend just called - she was there - apparently everyone was pretty good except Nadia and Makaila.

She said - that Carrie and Jessica blew the roof off and that Simon said they had the best voices in the competition.

Yeah..I think your friend is right since I just read on another board that the judges told Nadia that tonight was her weakest performance. Tough break, but she still rocks!


Stuff like this is a little worriesome unless you are only holding for the long term. The people that post there are often a little looney and support their favourites regardless so its tough to judge whats valid and whats not.

It would be good to find a reliable non moderated board for this kind of info.

Something that is a little more comforting, but not sure if its true


I have heard that they were taping it this way to save time, since there were more than 10 contestants. They are supposed to start showing them live next week. No more spoilers.


I will reply with some other spoilers that appear to be true based on number of times they appear. So dont read if you dont want spoilers.

Judges liked Jessica and said she could give Carrie a run for her money.

They all thought this was Nadia's weakest performance.

Simon didn't like Constantine...said it was like a poodle wearing a leather jacket

Simon said Vonzell will finally be remembered. Simon said

All judges had something nice to say about Bo

The guy who went to the taping says that Anthony sang first, and Jessica went last. He doesn't remember the order of the others.

Carrie is at buying at 14 and selling at 11 right now (which is highly undervalued IMO, I though I got her at a deal at 19, and couldnt resist getting a few more at 16) and Asswar is selling for 35. Based on this info, one could pick up a few Carries and sell a few Anwars short and make a tidy profit by the end of the week. Nadia is at 12 - 16, and if the rumours are true, she could drop to a 3 - 5 by Wednesday. Bo at 27, will probably jump to 35.

I don't particularly care for Jessica at all. I wonder how her presence effects the other contests, as far as recieving votes. She probably hurts Carrie the most as Jessica voters would probably swing her way.

I'm really tempted to stock up on a few more Bo and Carrie at their current values, as I have been feeling them for the Top 2 since the first week. I can't envision Bo not being there.

I agree. The fact she has a bad week doesnt throw her out of the top 4 IMO. But she will fall to a buyable level.

I don't think she will fall to 3, but to about 5/3 sell. At 16/12 right now, that might have been an overestimation on second thought, but I think Carrie and Jessica are going to move up much more, at the cost of Nadia. Perhaps 9/6 is a better guess. However, I would argue against this making her more "affordable", I don't think shes worth purchasing at all. She is probably at her peak right now, and even when it comes to the bottom 4, if shes still there, she will be the favorite to leave that week and probably won't be ever better then a $10 sell again.

Another thought I have this week is that the person thrown week will be an upset. Apparently, Mikalah was like the only bad performer which almost ensures that she wont leave, because her hardcore fans are going to be working overtime tonight knowing shes on the bubble.

I am also putting in my "official prediction" that Bo will win. If you read the other forums, hes definately not the most popular, but he is on virtually everyones "final four" list. He is the only person that consistently makes this group. I think right now, he is a lot peoples 'second favorite' and as those voters favorites are being eliminated he is getting more and more followers and momentum each week with his strong performances and accolades from the judges. I invested the $200 bonus from Party this week in 7 more Bo's. Hopefully that turns a sweet $500 profit.
