Dead, just ignore the trolls. He's obviously just here to spout his own stupid agenda rather than discuss anything with anyone.

Most of his posts consist of, "In your face, liberal scum!"

Why even bother with such a loser?
I know that I'm not going to again.

I tell myself this every day.

I'm staying out of the politics forum for a week, starting right now. I'm sick of the trolls.

Someone, anyone, please yell at me if I post in the politics forum before next Tuesday.

AngryCola, I'll leave you with a quote that sums up our friend's posts.

"When the debate is lost, slander becomes the tool of the loser."

I don't think SS benefits should be taxed at all. They've already been taxed once before.

Bravo!

Dead I keep warning you, you'll be joining the dark side (ie. small "l" libertarians) before you know it.

The next step is to realize what a total crock social security is in its entirety. That it is a program designed to keep people poor and needy of the govt. And even more so, it's a program designed to hookwink the public into financing profligate borrowing by Congress that is obfuscated by obscure accounting....

We'll get you there, I'm sure of it. Hehe.

Default Dems Playing Politics With SS

The Dems do NOT want Bush43 to get credit for removing the tax on SS that Clinton implemented.
Their strategy seems to be block all republican legislation and pray that 2006 puts them back into the majority...

I think their strategy is rather short-sighted and I think it will back fire on them.

You know, I didn't think so at first, but if there's hope for anyone on this forum, it's Dead. I think waaaaaay deep down he knows what's best... He's just doing the college liberal thing right now because it's in vogue.

If the Dems win in 2006 (laugh) and then they reform social security (bigger laugh), Bush will still get the credit--just like Clinton took all the credit for welfare reform.
