LOL

ok that makes Wayfare slightly less stupid than I first thought if that's he what meant - I thought he was actually saying England wasn't part of Europe but instead he's insulting the French/Germans/Spanish etc as well. Given that by proxy he's standing up for Kane as I was talking about what he said specifically, I think I could be forgiven that.
If it was the comment I made about American's not being as good as Europeans that spurred him to post, then I stand by that. I'll let others elaboate on that

And Neon, I don't know why you've bothered to post in this thread?

But as you're insulting me then have one back:
If you're neon_tetra on Prima I'm thinking of, it makes me all warm to think I took a $2.5k pot off you when I did a hit and run at 10/20 full ring a while back and left the next hand. Betting into the nuts on the river and calling an all-in from an unknown. NICE HAND - if I can find it I'll post it.
oh yeah.... thanks for the laptop.

Hmm. Is this why Brits are known as such humourless (hah!) tightwads?

Well-played, sir. A most laudable effort.

There is two big reasons why prima so popular among scandinavians.

1) Deposits arrive immidietly from bank account to poker account. And withdraw come in couple of hours to bank account.

2) There is still loads of american fish.

And maybe even third, winnings from inside the EU are tax-free.

Indeed I could and so could you - people of Anglo-Saxon descent have German blood in them, come to think of it, the vast majority of white Americans have European blood so I'm not sure who you're trying to insult in the first place?

Anyway bored now, use Google to find out who you are if you think you're so far removed from us minions across the pond

Enough fighting, back to poker....

Oaky, was just kidding about the northern 2500 miles of sweden. It's always fun poking a little fun at Swedes as i know how much you guys like making fun of Americans...It just so happens i work for a Swedish company so i get over there quite a bit.

If you want to know, we usually joke/are serious about Bush, iraq, fat americans/burger king culture, weapon laws, 300 years in prison etc etc. Things like that.
Regards and happy playing

Expekt is based in Sweden and advertises on TV there. It's one of the bigger skins on Prima.

[/ QUOTE ]

Expekt is owned by a swede, but is in fact based in malta.
expekt has licences in three countries, Great brittain, Malta and Austria.

Prima bye the way is licenced by the indian camp kahnawake
outside Montreal.

Default Re: prima and scandinavia?

what is the legal status on poker and internet poker in that region of the earth?

[/ QUOTE ]

All of the online poker sites owned by swedish citizens is based outside the country (obviously to escape laws and taxes).
I think there are 3 IRL casinos in the country, all owned by the government who is the only one who have the rigth to have games for money.
The Government has some plans to start an online poker site, but nothing has come of that so far.

Sidenote about swedish laws: its legal to sell sex in sweden, but illegal to buy it.
