work on getting player and table reads.

just think of it as folding one pair. new players tend to think of AA as an unbeatable hand.

Good fold.
The bettor might just have AJ, but the chances that he has 2pair, a set, or a flush are more likely based on his play.
Especially getting check/raised on the turn and then 3-bet, you must fold.

In the micro thread you see a lot of posts with bad AA laydowns.
This was a good one.

I didn't have any reads on the the players, but the table was normal Pacific looseness....6-8 seeing the flop.

River was a blank and it goes: check, check

EP3 J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
MP1 A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

MP1 wins with pair, AA

I was so f'n pissed. I was ready to slit someone's throat.
Yesterday I laid down QQ in a 3 way pot to find out the winning opponent had QQ.
This really messed with my head.
It was the C/R from EP3 that really threw me off.
Why would he C/R with TP and a gutshot?
If I had the A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], I would not be folding in this situation.

At these limits, with no reads, I'd probably call down if this situation came up again.

You can blame the host of the WPT for that.

yeah, make a not that ep bluff c/r a turn, and still called down after being 3bet

you don't need an essay in the hand posts, but anything out of the ordinary is always helpful
