Where to find poker books in Vancouver?
I'm looking for ToP and SSHE, and for some reason, Chapters doesn't have SSHE. I know I could purchase the books online, but I would prefer to buy it in person. Any suggestions on a (hopefully cheap) store to purchase the books would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Re: Where to find poker books in Vancouver?
Hey JC,
Hello fellow Vangrooverite! I found the same problem and haven't yet seen a local store that carries a single 2+2 books. Generally it is all the run of the mill shlock that i waded through before finding 2+2. Although 6 months ago Chapters carried about %10 of the Poker stock they do now, so perhaps there is hope yet. Ultimately, I just ended up ordering them off of amazon.ca and they came in 4 days. Chapters carried SuperSystem 2 but I ended up ordering off Chapter.ca because it was much cheaper (along with Roy West's 7card stud) and amazon didn't carry it. Cheers, The Real Macoy |

Barnes & Nobles on Meridian Way in Bellingham has a decent selection. Got my SS2 there.

Eldon,
Thanks for the heads up. Next time I travel south I will definately go take a look. I would love to browse a solid poker section. I seem to buy almost all of my books online now, because they are so much cheaper. cheers, the Real Macoy |

Re: Where to find poker books in Vancouver?
It is amazing how Chapters would expand their poker section but with mostly subpar books from Hellmouth, Ken Warren and Lou Krieger.
I have looked through almost every major bookstore in the Vancouver lowermainland and have yet to see a Two plus Two book in any store. The bookstore on Granville (just S. of Robson - forgot name) would occasionally have some books which are not carried by Chapters. |
