Re: 600NL : JJ vs KK
I normally don't reraise with JJ....
Check-raise the flop, if he keeps coming you are done. |

Too tired to reply now but you should consider stepping down in limits are you made some pretty basic mistakes in this one.

Hero raises to $79 [/ QUOTE ] Why??? JJ is not a hand to be re-raising out of the blinds. I'm on the fence about raising JJ out of the blinds anyways. It's only purpose is building the pot and when you get action on the flop, you are likely behind. |

Re: 600NL : JJ vs KK
Is this correct? I like to repop here. At least in 6 max a button raise means nothing and the UTG Limp doesn't mean that much either.
It could be a leak in my game. |

Re: 600NL : JJ vs KK
Are you serious about not reraising with jacks? The button put in a raise which could mean anything. Unless you know that the button never puts in a marginal raise in that spot you should raise and try to take it down. Jacks can get you in a lot of trouble but that doesn't mean you should only be playing them for a set or check-calling all the way down if the flop comes unders. That's just leaving money on the table, especially 6-handed.

Just because you do not reraise preflop doesn't mean you have to check call down to the river. |
