Default Re: I so thoroughly disagree

There's not a lot of disagreement here. In fact there is absolutely no disagreement as to "what to do", and on the subject of "why to do it" the point is articulated with a small shift in emphasis, between "greater options for long-term profit" and "the right thing to do".

Nevertheless, we are all in agreement as to "what we should do" and that, "it is the right thing to do, in addition to being more profitable in the long run".

I'm sad to say that we will always have a small number of brash, unpleasant personalities at the table. Have you ever noticed a personality change in a personal friend, family member, or acquaintence (who seemed like a nice person), when he/she gets into an automobile, puts on a badge, or seargent stripes, becomes a movie star, or gains some other advantage over the folks around them?

That same thing happens to a small number of people who feel superior or "elite" in the game of poker. Too bad!
