Am I Playing These Correct??
Hi I'm sat playing Pacific Poker, $5-$10:
A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I'm BB 4 players limp in, small blind folds, I check, Flop 4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] I CHECK 1ST LIMPER CHECKS 2ND LIMPER CHECKS 3RD LIMPER BETS 4TH LIMPER FOLDS I RE-RAISE 1ST LIMPER CALLS 2ND LIMPER FOLDS 3RD FLOP RAISER -RE-RAISES I CALL LIMPER CALLS SO NOW WE HAVE 3 PLAYERS TURN IS: A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I BET 1ST LIMPER FOLDS OTHER GUY RE-RAISES I CALL RIVER K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I CHECK RAISER BETS I CALL POT $129 Okey so I wont tell you what hand he had yet, i just want to know if i played the hand correct, did i play it to weak? Please let me know what you think

The orginal raiser ended up beating me holding 44 for the fullhouse.. did i still play the hand ok?

Please don't think like that, you'll lose money. And yeah, you played it okay, except for the stuff people have already mentioned.

I have been on a break from poker for a while. Trying to get my head back in the game. Can someone expand on why a PF raise is a good idea here? I believe it. I just can't explain why and that bothers me.

Therefore, you are at least 45/55 if there is a pair out there, better if not, justifying a pot-building, +EV raise. Also, if you miss the flop, and elect to play anyway, your PFR may help you pick up the pot with a flop or turn bet.
