I just picked up a GeForce 6600GT 128MB dual-DVI card from NewEgg for $192. That would certainly serve your needs.

Nope not a problem at all.
With one CRT and one 2100fp you should grab the card that entity linked to. When you get your second 2100, you can buy the adaptor so you have 2 DVI outputs. |

It has one VGA and one DVI, which is all you need (you can get a VGA->DVI adapter for a few bucks, but I think one will come with the card -- may have to check on that). If you want dual DVI, you're probably looking in the $150-$200 price range. [/ QUOTE ] Can you explain the difference between VGA and DVI? Is there a reason I would want my monitor on a DVI port rather than VGA? In other words, why would I want the dual DVI card rather than the DVI+VGA one? Also, if I already have a video card, will it be better for me to just buy a second (one port) video card for my second monitor and have two video cards rather than replacing my current video card with a two-port one? |

I just got a ATI Radeon 9200se 128mg (PCI) from newegg for like $50. Works fine for poker, but not really a good gaming card, if you are into that stuff (I'm not, so I don't care too much)

Check the display properties color quality on both monitors, it should be under the settings tab. Click on each monitor (the 1 and 2 monitor icons) and check the color quality on both. My guess is your original monitor has the amount of colors set to low.

Make sure the resolution is set properly on both monitors. On the 2001fp it should obviously be 1600x1200, experiement with teh other LCD to find the proper native resolution.
